43% Rise in Group Delegations

The 14th Pan-Hellenic Fair for Agriculture and Livestock, AgroΤhessaly, welcomed 48,560 visitors, marking an increase compared to the previous edition. This year’s exhibition, held in Larissa at the Neapolis Covered Market from March 6 to 9, recorded a 36% rise in trade visitors, while group delegations increased by 43%.

For four days, AgroΤhessaly set the pulse of the agricultural sector, showcasing the most advanced farming and livestock systems. The exhibition attracted international trade visitors from 15 countries, including Belgium, Bulgaria, Israel, Italy, Cyprus, Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Turkey, the Netherlands, India, Albania, North Macedonia, China, and the United Kingdom.

Once again, the strong collaboration between TIF-HELEXPO and the Municipality of Larissa resulted in the largest AgroThessaly ever organized, featuring over 800 exhibitors from 34 countries and achieving full exhibition coverage across 25,000 sq.m.. These figures underscore the agricultural sector’s demand for a stable reference point in the region, centered on primary production.

This year, AgroThessaly once again demonstrated its role as a key platform for communication and networking within the primary sector.

The parallel events of AgroThessaly also attracted a large audience, addressing pressing issues in the agricultural sector. These events were organized by the Region of Thessaly, the University of Thessaly, the Center for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving, the European Parliament Office in Greece, the European Commission Representation in Greece, the European Communities Committee, the Information and Communication Technology Institute of CERTH, the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece (GEOTEE), ELGO Dimitra, and the Cooperative Bank of Thessaly. Sessions were held both within the exhibition grounds and at the Larissa Municipal Art Gallery.

Industry-leading companies in agricultural and livestock machinery, supplies, and equipment showcased the latest technological advancements and provided insights into developments in global markets. The exhibition featured agricultural machinery and tractors, soil cultivation tools, farming supplies, propagation materials, nurseries, horticultural equipment, forestry tools, livestock-poultry farming machinery, animal feed, services, organizations, and specialized industry publications, shaping the content of the 14th AgroThessaly.
